I have experienced firsthand the powerful, positive changes that therapy can bring, and I work to help my clients experience these transformations in their own lives. Therapy is a vulnerable process and I am committed to making sure you feel safe, supported and affirmed as we work together. I recognize that shame, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other stresses are what can keep us from reconnecting to our authentic selves and I am passionate about helping you find wholeness and healing in your life.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO). I received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from Brock University and worked in education for several years before transitioning to counselling. I received my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
My name is Danielle Watson, I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists. I have experience working with at-risk populations and those struggling with their mental health. I work with people of all ages.
Through my experience and education, I offer individualized psychotherapy. I treat a number of mental health disorders, specializing in treating eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. I use a variety of treatment methods, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT-E, and Solution Focused Therapy. The approach we will use depends on your specific needs. My focus is working with you to help you become aware of your inner strengths in order to meet your goals. By providing a safe, comfortable space for clients to share their concerns, a unique treatment plan can be made.
