I approach therapy from a holistic, psychodynamic framework. This means that I use a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet your specific needs. Some of these approaches include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), emotion-focused therapy.

Individual Therapy

Online Therapy

If you prefer the idea of meeting from the comfort of your own home, online therapy may be a great fit for you. This option is ideal if you have a busy schedule or live outside of Niagara. All regular services are offered online, including EMDR. Please note that for online sessions, payment is e-transfer only.

EMDR Therapy

Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective therapeutic tool that helps people process difficult and upsetting memories from their past. EMDR helps you get “unstuck” from unhelpful  patterns of behaviour and thought. You can learn more about EMDR at emdria.org.

If you are feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed, you might be noticing that daily tasks are harder to complete than usual. Perhaps you are keeping your emotions bottled up and have no way to let them out. I offer a non judgemental space to support you through these challenges. Together we will find an approach that fits you best and meets your needs. I work from a holistic and trauma-informed framework, which means that we will typically implement day-to-day strategies to increase functioning, while also spending time digging deeper to uncover patterns and root causes. Our time together will be client-centered and collaborative.
